We built the data infrastructure to score thousands of Florida business owners against exit readiness and quality signals. Then we put callers on the phone. The result is a done-for-you outreach service: we identify, call, qualify, and book. Brokers get warm seller conversations without spending any time on prospecting.
We score every business two ways, Exit Readiness and Business Health, so you only spend time on owners who are likely to sell and companies worth acquiring. The separation matters: a motivated seller of a deteriorating business is a risk, not an opportunity. Both scores must qualify before a target reaches your weekly report.
We take one broker per vertical so the pipeline stays exclusive. Your competitors do not receive the same outreach.
About Remi Taffin
Remi Taffin spent 15 years in enterprise data engineering before leaving to build Acquisition Edge. The platform came out of a specific observation: by the time a small business shows up on a broker's listing, the window for a favorable deal has mostly closed. The six to twelve months before an owner formally decides to sell, when behavioral signals are visible but no one is watching, is where the real opportunity sits.
Acquisition Edge monitors licensing boards, corporate registries, review platforms, and other public data sources to surface those signals at scale, targeting owner-operated businesses in the $1–30M revenue range who show exit readiness but haven't engaged a broker yet. The scoring model keeps two variables separate: how likely an owner is to sell, and how healthy the underlying business actually is. Both have to score well for a lead to get surfaced.
The platform currently covers Florida manufacturing and home service verticals: HVAC, lawn care, landscaping, roofing, pest control, and engineering firms. industries with high baby boomer ownership concentration where exit signals tend to be readable well before a listing appears. Remi works directly with business brokers and M&A advisors in the lower middle market, with leads delivered on an exclusive-by-territory basis.
Before starting Acquisition Edge, Remi was Director of Engineering at Ordergroove, a B2B SaaS company in the subscription commerce space, where he was promoted from Senior Engineer to Director over three years and managed 4 fully remote engineering teams totaling roughly 25 people. That background in running data infrastructure at scale, rebuilding broken pipelines, and shipping reliably under pressure is the foundation the platform is built on.
